About

“In the depths of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer”. ~ Albert Camus, French philosopher and writer

I’m a 37 year old divorced mama of two beautiful girls.

This is my journey through full-time single parenting, balancing working and making a simple home, and learning to love myself, my girls and this world of ours a little more each day.

I love just about every walking, talking, growing living thing on the earth and think respect and kindness are missing from this world.

I eat local, when I can, organic food.  I cook from scratch a lot.  I sew.  I carry my camera everywhere I go and I spend countless hours here in front of the computer.  I cannot knit worth a darn.  I have a short temper and curse like a sailor sometimes.  My dream is to evolve my little home into a homestead of girls, hens, goats and some bees buzzing by.  It’s called the five, ten, many year plan.

I will share with you my lovely photos, my ongoing battles with my house, my kids, my pets and the world in general, and sometimes I’m just boring.

But every once in a while….I’m brilliant.

I would love to hear from  you!  If you have something to share or ask,  feel free to drop me a line at treemama@zoominternet.net.

Hugs and love for you and thank you for stopping by.
